Olink Proteomics

NXTGNT provides advanced proteomic analysis using Olink® Explore 3072, and Olink® Target 96 & 48 assays. Utilizing Olink® Proximity Extension Assay (PEA) technology, this approach ensures highly specific detection of protein targets. Each target protein is recognized by a unique pair of oligonucleotide-linked antibodies, forming a distinct template for subsequent detection via qPCR (in Olink® Target 48 & 96) or Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). The Olink® panels are capable of measuring a wide range of protein concentrations, accommodating both normal and pathological sample conditions. This highly sensitive antibody-based technology excels in measuring low-concentration human plasma proteins, such as interleukins and hormones, down to picogram per milliliter levels. Additionally, the minimal volume requirement for body fluid samples makes this methodology ideal for challenging proteomics samples like plasma & serum, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), urine, tissue lysate, interstitial fluid/microdialysis, ocular fluids, saliva, synovial fluid, fine needle biopsies, and more … More info on the Olink website

How does the technology work?

Minimal sample requirement
Olink® PEA technology is based on dual recognition of each protein target by a pair of highly specific, oligonucleotide-linked, antibodies creating a unique template for subsequent detection by q-PCR (Olink®Target96) or NGS readout (Olink®Explore).

What does the Olink® platform offer?

Olink® Target 96
Choose from fifteen carefully designed panels built for specific disease areas or key biology processes, each providing simultaneous analysis of 92 protein biomarkers with Olink® Target 96. Perfect for proof-of-concept or hypothesis-driven studies.
Olink® Explore 384/3072
With Olink® Explore 3072, you have access to the Olink® protein library of ~3000 protein assays for exploratory proteomics and multiomics studies. For more focused projects, you can choose from one or several of the eight Explore 384-plex panels that make up the Explore 3072 library.
Olink® Target 48
Olink® Target 48 Cytokine is the ultimate solution for studies of inflammation and the immune response. Our thorough biomarker selection allows for simultaneous quantification of 45 low abundance proteins, relevant across a variety of diseases.
